Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article focuses on the relationship between family and community in the light of recent social and cultural changes and using the relational-symbolic approach of Scabini and Cigoli and the thinking of French-style psychosociology as reference theoretical frameworks. Considering the family pivot of the community, the elements that unite family and community, as well as the specificity of both, are illustrated. The thesis supported by the work revolves around the need to put the bonds at the center of the reflections and interventions for the family and the community, to reconsider the "intermediate units" between the individual and civil society, to focus attention on prevention interventions - promotion instead of repair and, finally, to build significant networks in the local community. The work ends with some considerations regarding the role and functions of the community psychologist.
