Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The article presents the results of a pilot research carried out by the Center for Studies and Research on Disability and Marginality of the Catholic University of Milan (CeDisMa), in collaboration with the Cascina San Vincenzo Association (Concorezzo, MB). The aim of the survey is to investigate the family perspective in relation to the presence of a child with autism, in order to know the critical issues and needs, but also to identify possible operational proposals to implement the quality of the services offered. Through a multi-methodological approach it was possible to deepen the experiences that accompanied the parental couple over the years, highlighting the changes and relational dynamics with the community and the network of services with the aim of identifying the needs and strengths of the families involved.
