Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, concrete effects have been had, through social behaviors, motivated by the so-called Fake News.
Despite the English term, the phenomenon is very dated, probably born around the figure of Napoleon, or at least that period is the first during which we begin to recognize and document fake news and their consequences.
Much has also been said about the dynamics, which allow the dissemination and sharing of fake content and although the fertile ground of fake news are social networks, narrative and communication of Covid-19, it has shown that even traditional media does not are exempt.
In fact, there are many different ways to convey untruthful information, including: propaganda, disinformation and information warfare. The latter represents the scenario within which current post-modern societies are moving and in which all areas of people's social and public life are affected.
