Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The challenges of Expo Milano 2015 call into question educational content and communication, which must be intertwined in the sign of sustainable growth, healthy, safe and sufficient food for the entire planet. The present contribution is based on the need to understand "the most important purpose of an exhibition, which is mainly educational" - according to the first article of the establishment of the Bureau International des Expositions - in relation to the theme chosen for Milan 2015, Feeding the planet, energy for life, which will have to be developed "through a survey of the means available to satisfy the needs of civilization and by making progress, from one or more sectors of human activity, the progress made and the prospects for the future ». Educating for human development in the global era constitutes the scenario in which the Expo will take place. Central to this, in this heuristic perspective, are the questions of governance of change, of competences as a common good, of the challenge of integral human formation.
