Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The objective of this paper is to investigate the characters, themes and narrative mechanisms of the Spanish graphic novel Calle del Norte (Editorial Milenio, 2010). In particular, it has been detected that, for the composition of the structure of the work, the authors Miquel Ángel Bergés and Josep María Cazares resorted to a continuous crossing of the temporal planes that flows parallel to the construction of a profound message of change cultural related to the issue of coexistence between Christians and Muslims within the Spanish social context.
