Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Among the contextual factors that contribute significantly to shaping the online experience of children and young people, the family environment occupies a central place. In particular, the role of the parents proves to be decisive, both as regards the purely technological dimension of the computerized equipment of the domestic unit and the methods of accessing the network, and as regards the cultural and social capital on the basis of which Internet domestication within the family.
