Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Among the most recent works that best highlight the need to update the social researcher's toolbox, there is the one edited by Giuseppe Masullo, Felice Addeo and Angela Delli Paoli - entitled Ethnography and netnography. Theoretical reflections, methodological challenges and research experiences, published in 2020 by Paolo Loffredo Editore with the contribution of the Department of Human, Philosophical and Educational Sciences (DISUFF) of the University of Salerno. The volume, quoting Mangone's words in preface, «is configured precisely as a methodological laboratory which aims to open new perspectives for an in-depth study of the interaction between some variables (gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, etc.) and cultural changes taking into account a multiple and multidisciplinary to the formation of identity and relationships through the ethnographic and netnographic method" (2020, p. 16).
