Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The aim of the essay is to analyze analytically the philosophical positions that animate the contemporary debate on immigration ethics. Topics are taken into consideration in favor of an "open borders" position and opposing positions in favor of border closure, based on the well-known principle of self-determination. Finally, a proposal for a moderate cosmopolitan opening is discussed, based on the discussion of the currently debated case of the so-called "irregular immigrants".
