Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Current challenges in terms of sustainability, climate change and energy crisis lead individuals and the community to rethink the paradigms of coexistence between people and those of interaction between people and the environment. The transition from the concept of human rights to that of planetary rights stimulates reflection on the educational strategies to be implemented in order to promote awareness that human rights cannot be separated from those of the planet that hosts us. Law 20 August 2019, n. 92 on civic education represents a precise desire to affirm the inseparability of these values, but also the pedagogical direction aimed at the formation of a conscience that calls the educational community to become an actor of change. The paper, starting from the historical evolution from the concept of "human right" to that of "planetary right", will analyze some educational practices focused on learning in situation, to identify good practices aimed at building a society aware that being human today means understanding the value and needs of the world around us.
