Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In family educational relationships there are many occasions when you risk hurting the other; in everyday life there are various reasons that can generate contrasts, erroneous interpretations, non-shared choices that disappoint and embitter. The educational relationship between parents and children who do not contemplate the possibility of forgiveness is a relationship that risks being torn apart just when the need for help is greatest. The regenerative capacity of forgiveness produces a change both in those who receive it and in those who offer it. Forgiveness has its transformative force that gives new form to the educational relationship and opens to hope.
