[Autom. eng. transl.] The self-styled Islamic state (ISIS) is an Islamic-Sunni terrorist group that in recent years has severely hit some of the major European countries. Therefore, the present work wanted to explore its presence in Europe from a socio-criminological perspective using the QGIS mapping program. The analysis was carried out on two levels: the geographical one, in which a concentration of terrorist attacks is highlighted in the major European countries (especially those with the lowest average age of terrorists) and the demographic one, taking into consideration the terrorists responsible for the attacks and analyzing their geographical origin. It is highlighted that a good part of them is a second-generation immigrant with an average age of 26 years and these data seem therefore to constitute a point of contact with the existing literature.
