Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume, thanks to the contribution of competent authors in different areas of philosophical research, investigates the relationship between experience and rationality in the contemporary perspective, offering a conception of rationality aimed at overcoming the limits of the Cartesian approach. The contributions in the volume provide a historical account of some theories that in recent years have taken the form of rationalism aware of the complexity of reason, as evidenced by the reflections of Popper, Albert, Kuhn and Putnam. On the theoretical side, the investigation deepens what neuroscience is able to say about rationality and examines the relationship that rationality has with the different spheres of human activity.
