Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper aims to investigate the relationship between some sequences of "Satyricon" (chap. 34, chap. 115; chap. 118), in relation to some previous Horatians (carm. 2, 14; ar poetic): Petronius puts in scene a deliberate, systematic reversal of the hints offered by Horace, who is also counted by Eumolpo among the models of the aspiring poet, due to his "curious felicitas", happy aptitude in linguistic and stylistic choices.
