Abstract
This is the first case of a pediatric mesalazine-induced erythema multiforme (EM), occurring in a teenager with Henoch-Schönlein purpura-related pancolitis. Our report highlights the wellknown contribution of salicylates to the development of severe skin reactions and also shows the importance of a pharmacological medical history in every case of EM.
