Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Individuals make a large number of decisions on a daily basis, most often resorting to intuitive deliberative practices. Although the latter allow, in most cases, to resolve complex issues correctly, at the same time, such mental procedures can increase the likelihood of making mistakes. This happens in contexts characterized by 'organizational dysfunctionality', where the conscious activation of inhibition mechanisms of automated cognitive processes is particularly difficult.
Given this change of perspective on human rationality, it is therefore necessary to consider ways of managing dangerous behaviors different from traditional ones. Following a path that moves from individual action to reach collective action, the investigation therefore reflects on the preventive strategies to be adopted in order to defuse, upstream, the sources of possible deliberative errors, well before the latter are translated in harmful events.
