Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The traditional belief that the hermitage started by Bruno in Calabria has been regulated by a Carthusian way of life is discussed. The attribution to that experience of properly Carthusian traits occurred much later, and is the result of a historiographical rear projection.
