Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The catalog that accompanies the exhibition "Hercules the Founder. From Antiquity to the Renaissance" sets itself the goal of illustrating in detail the location and contents of the exhibition. The exhibition concerns the myth of Ercole founder of Brescia and other cities, not only Italian, as it has been handed down by literature and art history, through a sampling of works that give an account of this tradition.
