[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume is the result of a research that is part of the University project, directed by prof. Gian Luca Potestà, "Crisis of Eurocentrism and the future of European humanism: historical-cultural, religious, juridical and economic-social perspectives". The research proposed to follow the geopolitical evolution of the history of the ancient world, from the second millennium BC to the late antiquity following the displacement, in the different historical phases, of the centers of power and of the areas of political, military and economic interest.
