[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume is the act of a study day organized in 2011 at the University of Paris-Sorbonne in tribute to Sergio Cigada (1933-2010). Following its analytical method, which is a real redefinition of philology, after the two introductory texts by Joëlle Gardes Tamine and Marisa Verna, the authors of the contributions are interested in "linguistic" questions, in the broad sense, literary text. They searched preferably the corpus of predilection of Sergio Cigada: Charles Baudelaire, Rimbaud and the authors of Symbolism (Jean Lorrain). But, as a testimony to a fruitful method, from detail to a wider perspective, twentieth-century poetry is far from being neglected (St. John Perse). The literary criticism proposed here is therefore based on facts of language: an open hermeneutics, which requires collaboration between linguistics and literature.
