Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay reconstructs the thought and operational commitment of Enrico Falck with regard to economy, society and politics, from the years of the Resistance to the post-war period, highlighting the peculiar realistic spirit capable of mediating between principles and contingencies according to an "Ambrosian" tradition ( to which belong Manzoni and Filippo Meda) of which he appears a significant exponent.
