Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The University of Lorraine and the University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, to which were added the University of Bergamo and the Alma Mater of Bologna, organized in Metz, in September 2018, a scientific event on the challenges of the acquisition of languages in migratory contexts, particularly the French and Italian contexts, as it is true that the globalization processes which are accelerating at the start of the 21st century, and the resulting mobility phenomena, pose new challenges, which call for new responses in terms of reception and integration or integration policy for migrant audiences. Among other things, this involves responding, in a perspective of social cohesion and shared citizenship, to the language training needs of migrant audiences; This is evidenced by the Erasmus + language learning programs offered by the European Union initially dedicated to European students, which recently concern migrant or refugee audiences. As the training needs of migrant audiences and the contexts in which they take place are extremely varied, they therefore question, or must question, the teaching of languages and cultures at the same time in taking into account the diversity of contexts, socio -culturally located, and in its intervention processes, with a view to developing action models linked to social realities.
