ENGAGEMENT: un nuovo modello di partecipazione in sanità

But is the social-health system ready to make this request its own and translate it into concrete practices? Starting from the examination of the main scientific theories and the most accredited models on the international scene, the book makes its contribution to this transformation process, accurately describing the Patient Health Engagement Model: a psycho-social scientific model aimed at evaluation and promotion of the process of engagement of people in their health path The text examines recent research and application cases developed in different health contexts, in order to offer concrete ideas, but also to participate in the development of strategies and innovative management models that promote sustainability and effectiveness of health services. The work is dedicated to the professional updating of social and health workers (managers, doctors, nurses, social assistants, psychologists, sociologists, rehabilitation professionals, etc.), but is also aimed at people with a request for care and assistance, supporting them in taking on a role of greater leadership in their socio-medical pathway.
