Abstract
In colorectal small‐cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, superficial endoscopic biopsies may be misleading due to predominant submucosal growth. When endoscopic features strongly suggest malignancy despite benign histology, deep biopsies and early multidisciplinary evaluation are essential.
