Elementi emblematici del fund raising in Italia, tra percorsi storico-culturali e coscienza educativa

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay addresses, without claiming to be exhaustive, the historical analysis relating to the phenomenon of fund raising. An emblematic reconstruction of the evolution of fund raising can be particularly useful in primis to understand its intrinsic relational nature and, secondly, to recognize its values and ambiguity in the current context. From different sources and documents a particularly interesting picture emerges that attests a long tradition in Italy in fund raising practices. At the roots are to be considered the motivations of gift and charity, connotations of prevailing socio-political and ethical-religious meanings. Pedagogical reflection should deepen the historical and cultural roots of fund raising in order to assess its ethical consistency and possible educational connections.
