Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The book explores the rhetoric of Popol Vuh, its narrative structure and its formal organization, from the versification to the graphic division of the manuscript of Francisco Ximénez of the 18th century. The critical study of the k'iche 'text has allowed us to recognize the oral pattern of the work and its origin as a collective and oral myth of the pre-Hispanic era.
