Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Starting from a reflection of Coetzee, according to which who tries to explain their culture to Europeans loses in analysis of that culture, the article proposes to analyze the work of the Inca Garcilaso through the theory of "heterogeneity", by Antonio Cornejo Polar, and, later, according to the “frontier” theory, by Zulma Palermo. According to both theses, the Inca Garcilaso would be a heterogeneous and border writer, a kind of bridge between indigenous culture and Spanish culture.
