Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people's daily lives,
including various aspects of their leisure activities, such as opportunities for activity
free-time physics (AFTL). The closure of sports facilities and the measures
Social distancing and prohibition of gatherings have modified these opportunities, which has
led to a decrease in AFTL during different forms of confinement in different
countries, according to reports from several review studies. Italy has also experienced a
decline in participation rates in sports and AFTL during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although the Italian government began lifting some restrictions in May 2021, only 54%
of the adult population engaged in AFTL, representing a 10% decrease in
comparison to pre-pandemic levels
