Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The article presents a reading of the captive's novel, inserted in Don Quixote. Fundamentally, he tries to explain who Zoraida was and what kind of relationship he had with his father. Above all, the question of the meaning of the reference to Lela Marién is questioned within the explanation that Zoraida offers of her escape to Spain.
