Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This volume, revised and expanded version of the Italian original, presents the results of the clinical research on family bodies carried out by the author over the past twenty years. The work is divided into three large blocks that facilitate the understanding of relational-symbolic psychotherapy. The first summarizes the anthropological, philosophical, artistic and psychological foundations, while the second leaves room for clinical practice. The third presents several instruments for assessing family relationships. The idea that neuropsychological sciences should take precedence in the training of future psychology professionals has led to the banishment of the humanities in recent years. Without subtracting an iota of importance to science, Cigoli and his team show how art, philosophy, music or literature studies contribute to the enrichment of psychology as a science.
