Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The analysis of the relationship between the concepts of existence and continuous Determination in Kant implies an explanation of a more original relationship ahead, namely that between determination and predicate. Baumgarten is considered here as Kant's main interlocutor, with whose metaphysica he deals initially and mostly dealt with. But already between Baumgarten and Wolff, there are big differences in these definitions, which are represented by a Comparison between the tables of contents of Wolff's Ontologia and Baumgartens Metaphysica can be examined
