Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This work summarizes the results obtained after six years of conducting the experimental agronomic test, which involved the use of different doses (10 and 40 t / ha of organic substance) of quality compost on sorghum in self-succession. By limiting the comment to the effects detected on the soil, an increase in the content of organic substance and nitrogen content in the soil was highlighted, especially at the higher dose of compost. The agronomic behavior of the compost was found to be that typical of a soil improver, with very gradual releases of nitrogen over time, similar to manure. No effects of heavy metal accumulation have been noted, even at the highest compost dose.
