Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Educate robots? The question forces us to ask ourselves about the limits and potential of machines and algorithms or rather about the responsibilities of our choices and their effects. Increasingly sophisticated technological devices, autonomous and integrable with our organism simulate human abilities. What we call artificial intelligence marks everyday life and poses a challenge for the future of civilization. Challenge and therefore unknowns, risks and opportunities. Educating robots means cultivating people's creative and civil resources in relational contexts where digital connectivity is so pervasive that it is unthinkable to interpret their logics without adequate pedagogical awareness. It is about educating to discernment and understanding how radical innovations, process and product, can contribute to the common good to face educational needs and social fragility, inequalities and poverty. A pedagogy of artificial intelligence urges to take care of the human. He calls into question parents, teachers and those involved in training such as those who design, manufacture and use 'intelligent' machines. To encourage the development of a responsible conscience, for the generation of fair and supportive values and actions.
