Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume collects the contributions drawn up on the basis of the data collected during some focus groups with teachers and parents on the topic of children's autonomy in kindergarten. These data show that nursery school aims above all to achieve behavioral autonomy, and therefore the acquisition of "good habits". Parents, on the other hand, seem to neglect the education of their children in practical, operational autonomy. As it is easy to notice, two different ways of estimating autonomy emerge, expression of two symbolic universes, which under the pedagogical-educational aspect it is essential to try to reconstruct. This above all calls into question the adult, whose communicative competence is also measured through the willingness to gradually evolve the intertwined relationship, to better guarantee the definition of the Educator: the autonomy is born and grows in the interpersonal relationship.
