Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the current situation of ecological transition, the identification of skills for sustainability and their consequent development respond to the need to train the workers and citizens of the future, with particular reference to the category of young people whose drive for change is decisive. The relevance of the topic in question is confirmed by the efforts that the European Union has put in place to make the involvement of young generations in the processes of change effective, highlighting the need for greater investments in the implementation of adequate green training strategies. Likewise, some national and international evidence indicates a growing youth sensitivity towards sustainability, an aspect that needs to be taken into due consideration to create new training opportunities and to counteract that sense of disempowerment regarding the role of young people in society.
