Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Educating about the ecological transition represents an unavoidable opportunity to invest in a future that is inclusive, egalitarian and fruitful. Devices such as the Objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda, the numerous programs promoted by the European Union and, specifically, Next Generation EU of which the PNRR is part represent concrete intentions to co-construct, in complex times such as the post-pandemic and conflictual ones global level, actions to combat inequalities. However, the presence of these tools and guidelines is not sufficient if not placed within educational systems that place the person at the center, and at the same time as the driving force, of this transition. Climate crisis and food inequality represent 'chronic' emergencies on the global scene that require long-term interventions and which cannot be addressed without taking into account the need for complex actions for complex problems. Reading crises and inequalities through the 'lens' of pedagogical reflection represents an opportunity to pursue integral human development that aims to enhance the promotion of the person, the progress of civilization and a transition that is ecological and humanised.
