Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume offers a broad reflection on the evaluation in a pedagogical-social perspective. The particular point of view of the text, which considers evaluation as an activity that lives in various contexts - from the institutional to which we usually refer to those that are more informal and linked to everyday life - allows us to argue around the pedagogical commitment to address it in a generative way, at the service of growth and human progress. The society in which we live not only must evaluate (in a legitimate and ethical way), but it must also help people to evaluate, in order to move towards conscious and free choices. The book is aimed at students and professionals in education and training, but also at those who, in various capacities, want to reflect on a professional and everyday task: giving value to objects, experiences and human action.
