Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In a work scenario that worries about the number of unemployed, unemployed and NEETs, where socio-economic and gender inequalities appear to be growing, what are the trajectories that will guide the organizational choices of enterprises and of young people in the coming years? What role can pedagogy play in this complex situation? It is a time for challenges because the possibility of contributing to building a future oriented towards promoting peace and social justice, to strengthen the bond with others and with the earth, is at stake. What makes and will always make a difference is the commitment to establish an educational pact between institutions, businesses and associations, universities and the world of education, to build development project networks in favor of the local area and the community in the perspective of the common good. Educating ourselves in work means giving value to human formation and outlining a work that educates, that is, that contributes to promoting integral human development, which is rich in potential and meaning. Educating ourselves at work means choosing education as work, placing the well-being of people at the center of attention, addressing human frailties with pedagogical competence; it is a reference to educational professionalism, from the socio-pedagogical educator to the pedagogist, who fit into different organizational contexts to promote projects and activities aimed at the development of human relationships.
