Edge contact forces in continuous media

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

In this note we present results concerning integral properties of\r\nsecond-order powers. More precisely, we introduce the power expended on a subbody\r\nby a virtual velocity field, in the spirit of Germain, but in an axiomatic way, in which the power is regarded\r\nas a function of the subbody and of the velocity field.
