Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In 2013 the world economy is still driven by emerging economies and by developing countries, which grow, according to estimates, by 4.6% -4.8%. The advanced economies, on the other hand, recorded lower growth rates, with an average that, depending on the estimates, is between 1.0% and 1.3%. The forecasts are for a strengthening of the advanced economies in the coming years, with a consolidation therefore of the recovery recorded in the second half of 2013: the average growth rate should rise, according to the estimates, to 1.9% -2.2% in the 2014 and 2.3% -2.4% in 2015, with the US economy returning to a growth rate of around 3.0% in 2015, thanks to the growth in domestic demand and the reduction in fiscal drag.
