Abstract
At the roots of the crisis, we can find a reductionist, 'flattening' perspective on what is an economic agent and on what is time in economic agency. exiting the crisis needs focussing on development as a dynamic process, where the issue of what develpment 'truly' is needs to be explicitly addressed. Hence, engaging the religious dimension of personal and community life enhances the search for 'more' in human life: having more in order to be more.
