Abstract
This paper sums up the results of a research project run by CREMIT, aimed to investigate whether and how the method of Episode of Situated Learning works as a "professional organizer", or what allows teachers to rethink the three main actions of their professional work: to communicate, to design and to evaluate (Rivoltella 2015) . The research is based on the dissemination of a questionnaire for teachers, focus group sessions and desk analysis of teachers' design materials. The analysis of our data showed that the adoption of the method has a big impact on teachers' design skills, especially referring to competences based design, asking them to reflect more consciously on their own practices and their own identity.
