Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Introduction. The "e-wall" project is part of the redevelopment process of a residential facility for the elderly located in the center of the city of Cremona. The building, managed by the Cremona Municipal Special Solidarity Agency, is located near other services for the elderly: a Day Center, a Social Recreation Center, as well as realities such as schools, a parish and the "Civico 81" center, managed by a consortium of social cooperatives, which provides inclusion and social promotion services. Targets. The general objective of the project was to activate a dialogic planning process to identify and implement community welfare services and initiatives. Specifically, the action was aimed at identifying and strengthening services for tenants of housing, as well as the sense of belonging by the inhabitants and guests of the services present, and the connections with the various actors present in the territory. Methods. The intervention was carried out through a concerted process that began in May 2017 and that involved different phases and the use of different activation methods (for example, focus-groups, interviews, convivial moments, opening of new services and meetings design). Results. It was possible to detect and appreciate three operational and strategic nuclei (internal, intermediate and external connection), around which the accompaniment took shape and involved different actors: the operators of the Day Center, the elderly of the Social Center, the tenants of housing and territorial subjects. The activities of a formative, recreational, organizational and planning nature have made it possible to identify explicit and implicit needs on the part of the inhabitants, operators and local actors. A project space was also set up to respond to the needs identified and to build meeting opportunities. Finally, it was possible to define in an increasingly precise manner the functions and profiles of the various professional figures that can be activated in this context, as well as the services that can be proposed from a community welfare perspective. Conclusions. The "e-wall" project has helped to reach different local actors, promoting solicitations that will allow to define in an increasingly accurate way professional profiles and effective strategies for the promotion of a community welfare.
