Abstract

The volume is meant to teach students to understand drama and theatre by working on metalanguage.Shakesperian plays and their film version are analyzed along with a controversial film such as Dogville by Lars Von Trier. A descriprtion of the form and structure of dramatic language in texts is paired to exercises which analyse film scenes, the backstage and the making of the fim version. Selected readings complete the volume meant for B2 to C students of English.
