Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Social Doctrine of the Church has a "pedagogical value: promoting educational awareness of commitment and cultural and social planning through a fruitful dialogue with all knowledge, recognizing its autonomy and not excluding the part of truth it brings. The Church recognizes that the understanding of social relations is changeable and complex and that a profound knowledge is not possible without questioning contributions from different disciplinary approaches, to which theology itself refers in various ways "(Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, 2004 ). The element that can favor the transition towards an integral ecology is the dialogue between nations as a transparent and inclusive method in international decision-making processes aimed at developing new policies, the dialogue between religions to offer an "economic spirituality" that can call to I commit my faithful to the "care of the common home", dialogue between peoples and cultures so that planet Earth can be considered their homeland, intergenerational dialogue to plan responsible actions towards the environment, present and future.
