Abstract
Il contributo prende in considerazione il progressivo inserimento dei frati Predicatori nelle università del XIII secolo, e in particolare in quella di Parigi, e il primo confronto con i maestri secolari. La prospettiva viene sviluppata prendendo in considerazione i documenti emessi dalla curia romana, ma sopratutto a partire dalla produzione esegetica e agiografica dei membri dell'Ordine e dei maestri.
