Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Each chapter examines a key aspect: the analysis of SLD related to reading and writing, the importance of the mother tongue for the bilingual pupil diagnosed with SLD and pedagogical practice, with the presentation of didactic differentiation. This perspective implies the knowledge of the individual, of his strengths and weaknesses, of his relational, affective and motivational dynamics and allows to welcome him in his uniqueness, to build an inclusive educational path. As the great teacher Alberto Manzi said, "it is never too late" to innovate the school. Didactic differentiation responds to this challenge with curiosity, creativity and courage.
