Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume is the result of a work conducted by a group of scholars belonging to different Italian universities. Some of the most relevant research-action experiences carried out are compared with the literature concerning the methodologies used in the scientific community of work and organization psychology. This critical re-reading exercise allows us to rethink the traditional ways of conceiving the connections between research, the places assigned to its realization, the objects it is called upon to investigate and the processes through which it is carried out. The volume explores the different articulations involved in doing research, starting from the problems generated by organizational contexts and as a function of a possible change for the people involved. In the first part the questions concerning theoretical references are discussed, tracing the origins and the development of action research in the organizational field, in the second one we outline the methodological dimensions, from the setting of the setting to the evaluation of the results of the action research.
