Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This article discusses the close relationship between the structuring of knowledge and terminological and linguistic evolution in textual genres adopted by the scientific community during the first forty years of the eighteenth century. The starting hypothesis is that over some complex periods in the history of science, especially when scientific fields are involved at the linguistic level in a need for systematization of vocabulary testifying to the progressive adoption of new structures of thought , evolution in language and the evolution of knowledge are related to an adequate and innovative text genre used within the scholarly community.
