Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution is part of the theoretical framework that over the last few years has revisited the concept of competence, shifting attention to its configuration closely linked to the experience lived by the subjects within specific organizational contexts. The paper presents a research case related to the recognition and identification of the competences related to managers included in a consortium of social enterprises. The organizational scenario is described; the contribution then illustrates the research design adopted, highlighting the reasons for the qualitative methodological choice inspired by workplace studies. The main results are presented and the discussion focuses on the epistemological, methodological and process implications related to the type of research adopted.
