Abstract

New Dynamics of Regionalization and Territorial Policies. The Case of Lombardy – The paper compares the policy application relating to the implementation in Lombardy of the Delrio Law 56/2014 by observing both the projects put in place by the Metropolitan City of Milan and others regional-driven projects involving non-metropolitan areas (Alpine Valleys, Franciacorta). The analysis of these cases enables us to reflect, on the one hand, on the potential redefinition of power relations triggered by recent territorial reforms and, on the other, on the socio-spatial configurations that are increasingly difficult to address and portray within the confines of the trinomial represented by institutions/territorial borders/assigned functions.
